Hey Jon,

Michael here from the Rapido Warranty team.

Nice!  Good to have you on board Mike!  Nice to see manufacturers participating (or even justt lurking) in online forums.

Mike, as peteski has already said welcome aboard the Railwire train!!!

Took a few pics and measurements.
As you can see the screw that holds the trucks onto OB cars has a washer head.

Here's the diameter of this screw.

Here's the hole size in the 6 wheel truck that the head would recess down into.

As you can see in this shot all that needs to be done is move the bolster.

And here's a shot with the 6 wheel trucks just simply sitting under an OB car.

Once I get my cars in hand I will show some shots of the conversion.

As to the screws I can just chuck them into my Dremel and file the diameter down to remove the washer so they fit the
6 wheel trucks.

Well thank you all for the warm welcome here  :D

So I have confirmed that the screw used on the Baggage-Express is indeed DIFFERENT than the one on the OB Coach.

It has a countersink type head on it and it sits nicely inside the recessed portion of the 6-axle truck.

One thing I noticed is that the bolster hole on the 6-axle truck will not fit onto the OB bolster pin. You will need to take a bit of material off the bolster on the truck. Enough to get the truck to sit and rotate, but not so much that the baggage express screw can go all the way through!

I took a 6-axle truck and filed out the inside of the hole, and was able to get it to sit. The head of the baggage express screw is ~0.116", and I had to widen the hole in the truck to about 0.111" to get it to fit. That's pretty close to the size of the screw, so you really want to make sure you don't make it too big!

You will also need to use a washer of some kind to raise the car up a bit, otherwise the wheels will rub on the underframe.

I can send you some screws if you send me a PM with your address!

Thanks for all this info Mike, you've been a big help!!!! Can I ask you to do one thing for me though? Can you take a picture of the bolster on the Baggage Express with out the truck on it??
Yes I figured I would have to do some shimming but was waiting until I had everything in hand to take some measurements so as to get it at the right height.
I will send you my info. Thank you for doing this.
When it comes to customer service.   You guys Rock!!!  :D :D

No problem Jon!

I've included some photos of both bolsters (Baggage and OB Coach). I tried to keep them in focus, but my phone has a potato for a camera.
