Nice!  The convertible (a rarity in the early '80s) was quite pricey. A guy down the street just bought one of those last year - I let him borrow my service manuals.

While I cannot disagree, to me its uniqueness beats its ugliness.  But then again, I'm "different": I drive a 2006 Scion xB. My neighbor calls it "pregnant rollerskate".  But I also like  pretty things, like a NYC Dreyfus Hudson. 

You have to have a very specific aesthetic to like NYC steam.

John, I believe that Kompressor means supercharger, not turbocharger.   But I am Polish and could be wrong.  And we are still on topic here since we are discussing turbo-related items. 

And Ed, I think that a loco like the NYC Dreyfus Hudson is aesthetically pleasing and elegant loking  to most people.

And damn that is super clever... Here I was thinking neodidlium (neodymium I know) magnets that were electrified... I think the plating can be soldered on to but I know high heat completely kills its magnetic properties...
