The Nelson Diesel house build continues.  Next step is to glue down the inspection platforms and add the handrails and etched stairs.  The vertical girders are only slid in place at this point..I need to get to the interior walls before securing these.

While installing true-scale couplers on everything, I keep getting side tracked on projects. The lowly old school Atlas flat, with everything but the body casting replaced:

Mocking up a load. Some product from the Ford truck assembly plant in Louisville, KY. Pushing the transition era, but I like their looks. I need a lot more wood blocking:

I finally finished my scratch-built N-scale PRR X-28 box car. I've never built anything like this from scratch before, so I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I really like your PRR X28. Some very excellent modeling. Could you provide a few details about parts and methods used?

The B&O had a very similar box car, Class M-27, also an automobile car with 1-1/2 doors.
