Lok sound with Lok Piolt Nano STD

OK I have a N scale Kato PA unit with an LokSound Select. Also a PB unit that I have an LokPilot Nano STD.
I am trying to get the virtual sound to work. I have set the delay on. I am trying to get the speed and the delay matched.
I am about to throw the B unit into a wall. Every time I adjust the speed. I loose the address on the Lok Pilot. I have to go back and re set the address.

Any one working with this combo?

I was under the impression that the Nanos weren't FT compatible. Did this change?

That’s what I thought too.  IIRC there was a firmware upgrade needed.  it was a reason I went for the lokpilot version 4 instead .
Also the PWM frequency on the nano is limited to 20Khz whereas the loksound select is selectable to either 20 or 40.
Might try making sure those are the same on the consist locos

Well I guess that will require a e-mail or a phone call to find out.

A short answer- yes the LokPilot will work with the LokSound Select.

I don't know what my problem was with the decoder needing to re address? look at that later.

I use the Lok Programer, so I don't know how Decoder Pro works when doing this. But the link that Steveruger45 gave covers that.
I always use a Decoder that has no sound file downloaded to it. I do that myself with the lokProgramer. So I save the down load and then install the decoder into the loco Then fine tune it. The Pilot needs to have virtual drive remapped into F-8.

That makes the pilot react like the Select with F8 on.

I now just have to set the start delay on the Pilot, because on the Select you can't change the delay start time.
