Nice!  The container market has definitely rebounded.   I wonder if tank-tainers are in the works?

It goes without saying that another new 53' container underscores the need for more 53' well cars.  But I'll say it anyway. ;)

I'll second the need for well cars that carry 53' containers. I expect Micro Trains to announce one next year or so.
I wonder if the ones announced by Atlas are affected by the factory closure?

When speaking to them, they have lots of container projects in the works, so if its not soon, it will most likely be coming soon.

You can get true 1/160 tank tainers thru DMtoys.   Both Hobbytrain and Trix make them.

:o  Lou is right, Trix makes a decent model. However, not one that has multiple styles of top walkways to match prototypes, a hazard placard 'holder', or a heater/refrig. unit option, which is how a standard frame 20' tank container should be made, if it were to be made, along with IBC pins that match JTC and Atlas.  :D
Sounds like something to wrap in Christmas paper, doesn't it ?
