I’m reminded of that meme where a guy brings up an idea at a meeting and then is thrown out the window!

Well, that went off the rails quickly! :D I'm still here guys, currently busy working on mid-month weathered cars. I shared the ideas/suggestions and they were met with interest, so only time will tell!

Brandon, since you are a newbie here, I like to warn you that the Railwire is famous for off-topic excursions in most threads.  But if you learn to ignore (or laugh off) those OT posts and stick around, the Railwire collective frequently comes up with some pretty darn good ideas.  I hope we don't scare you off (like we did to a Shapeways rep who joined few years ago - she just quietly disappeared).

Pete,

I'm a longtime reader of The Railwire - so I fully appreciate the out of the box thinking and sarcasm. I'll try to check in periodically, but I may not be able to respond right away (and Joe will remain the primary contact for MTL).  The Contact Us page on our site is probably the most direct way for questions and comments to reach the intended recipients.

Mostly I just wanted to pop in and let you all know we appreciate the feedback and we're glad you like what we're doing!

Ahh - then I'm glad to see another long-time lurker join the conversation.  Even nicer is the fact that you are one of the industry insiders, and a skilled artist to boot!
