Jim, looks good! How do you like that LokPilot Nano decoder? Motor control similar to the other ESU decoders?
I really like them.
They have excellent motor control.
They're size allows them to fit most anything.   They have 4 functions and come with an 8 pin plug should your locomotive be so equipped.
I also really like the wire they use. The insulation is very small in diameter and very flexible.

Tim,
Be sure to use a DPDT Center off toggle switch when you do this.

Nice, Max.  Very nice.

Almost hate to post following that, but life goes on.

Here's the current state of the Sub:

Drywall work completed and first paint applied.  They are still working on replacing ceiling tiles, finding it almost impossible to get undamaged tiles (at $3 each) from Lowes.  Also floor is going in the south room.

All that big hole was not caused by the disaster - it was close by the track in this area, and I thought I'd do a revamp while I was at it.  So yes, I did some modeling last week.  Or destruction.  Cleaned up around the Bealville ranch also...

A closer shot of the ripped out hill.

And I don't think this will be all that much trouble to fix; I used cardboard between the tracks and it dropped away when prodded; figure to stuff weatherstripping up from below and reballast.  Sure am glad I keep extra on hand!

You didn't have to model the problem they had with water and mud and mountain coming down on RR and roadway in California !!
It's a long process from day 1 but you are getting there !

Thanks ,
Louis

It's no max model but Santa Fe 3463 coming closer to completion.
I cut the boiler again and brought the sand dome closer to the smoke box as it just didn't look correct. I like the proportions now and it has that compressed look of the prototype.
The tender structure is done minus the pickups. The boiler is lacking number boards, handrails, and piping.

I've mostly been planting trees and bushes.
