Maybe just co-incidental this corresponds to Easter, but KATO is resurrecting the COLA with new names and paint schemes. This is being discussed in the other KATO thread about a new product, tho.

:|KATO Union Pacific E9 diesel. UP's first smaller batch of E9's had two headlights and no E9 identifier plaque on the cab sides. My model is an E9 look at the Farr Air Side Grills. By the time the roof top beacon was added the to the cab top, the horns should have really been relocated farther back on the carbody. I did not take the time to add the extra nose grabs on one side of the nose. The snow shields were metal cast items from the old Hobbies Emporium. Nate Goodman (Nato).

 No Windshield Wipers. "W-a-a-a-a!" After viewing all the work I did to my first generation KATO locomotive all those years ago when looking at  the two photos, I realize that windshield wipers would sure look great. Nate Goodman (Nato).
