Need Help with Kato Broadway Ltd. coaches

Hi All.
I dropped the 12 Duplex/Bar Lounge joined together cars and they came apart. Also one of the trucks came off.
Does anyone have an idea how the little latch thing goes back in and how the truck goes back on?
it doesn't look like the truck bolster is damaged but is won't stay on.

Thanks

Rick

Rick, I have the Broadway, so if you want to drop by and take a look at how the coaches latch together, give me a call.

FYI the Broadway Limited has no coaches

The joined together cars are the diner and Kitchen-Dorm.

Ah, Mr Picky Prototyper ...

As for the reunification, the connecting tongue needs to be seated correctly and the truck properly installed. Set both cars on a track with the tongue sticking straight out. Both cars must be completely on the rails. Hold onto the tongueless car and gently push the other one so the tongue slowly slides under the other car. You should feel a slight snap once the tongue engages. Both cars are now connected.

Lol.  I’m sure you’re being a bit facetious but if he didn’t say it, I would have. The Broadway, the CROWN JEWEL of the PRR did not have coaches. Even when the 20th Century did, the Broadway kept its “dignity”.

And we would be remissed if we didn’t say, “that’s a diner/dorm, not a duplex/bar.”

But all that aside, let me know if you need a pic.

No, I said "Ed's Law."

Thanks Guys for the replies and the correction.

Once again the Railwire group and their helpfulness has come through.
Shark_jj (John Johnston) had me over and we compared our dare I call them "cars"?
John notice that the floor on one was not level so we took the body off and found that the weights had shifted.
Once re-positioned John got the pair back together.
As for the truck, on closer scrutiny, we noticed that the two little bumps on the latches had broken off. It will still run if you place it on the track carefully but I'll have to see if Kato has another wheel set for it.

Thanks again John.
