I've used SCARM and it's pretty darned good.  One thing I couldn't figure out is how to get it to do easements - not a problem with Unitrak!

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

If you happen to be on a Mac then RailModeller (free, limited) and RailModeller Pro (Not free) are good.

In checking out the track selection with the Scarm program, I can't find the templates for the new dual concrete
20-185 super elevated 18 7/8 r, 17 5/8 r track (and series). How do you contact them is you are not on social media like Facebook?

AnyRail has these. They also have their own discussion board where you can talk about this stuff without having to be on social media. Plus you can contact the owner directly via email.
