I'm really happy with how my NS B40-8W has turned out. It looks almost like it was meant to be.

You did a great job.  All the warning labels really add to the realism even if NS never had any B40-8Ws.

Great progress on the CMR lift bridge but I can't show you.  I easily added photos to my RW gallery 2 weeks ago.  I have made a dozen failed attempts to upload 7 photos yesterday and today.  Same cell phone camera loaded on to the same home computer and only 1 photo showed up in "My Images" but no new ones in "My Gallery"

So here is the pit dug into the bench work with a test fitting of the abutment structure made from an old Chooch bridge pier cut down with the rest of the structure built up with Evergreen styrene. Imagine the finished lift bridge installed and what the pit looked like without the abutments.  If I ever get the other 6 photos to load I would be happy to show you.

Best regards,

Roger

Roger, I had a similar issue uploading directly from my phone.  I tried dumping the file into my laptop and re-sizing the image down to 1084 x  whatev and they popped right up.  Perhaps  :tommann: has a size limit on the uploads now.

Two newest additions to the fleet.  @Shipsure MicroTrains really knocked these two out of the park.

The MMID cars are from Precision Master, run years ago.  I'm not certain how many different numbers they released, but given my research based on what shows up on eBay, sale groups and shows they only did 2 #'s, 3601 and 3628.  Those 2 #'s are the only 2 I ever see for sale.  This haul came as a result of actually losing an auction on eBay.  I had a second chance offer sent soon after, with seller stating he had multiple 3 car sets available.  I asked how many he had and he wrote back he would list another auction with remaining cars.  He listed 4 sets and I bought all 4.  2 3-packs are going to a friend of mine who had asked about them.

Fox Valley Models now has the molds for these cars with upgraded details etc.  I have added MMID as a suggested paint scheme for them on a couple of occasions, so we'll see if they run them or not.  It has not been mentioned as of yet for a release.  The only thing I need to change is that these cars had 5 roof hatches, where these have 3.

We could always do a custom run .. :)   for me, the 5 hatches isn't a big deal, but you could make a small master and cast them from expoxy

I can't upload directly from my iPad either, and they are small images. The new browser?

I'd be in for three or four of them if you did.

Seeing that these cars go for $20+ when they show up on eBay, I'm certain a custom run would go well if they don't do a regular release.

As for the hatches, yeah, not a big deal.  I thought I had some round ones from @Shipsure but I have troughs.  And it looks like I need some round ones anyway for a couple cars that lost them at some point.  I will have to check to see if MT has any extras around the office :D

That to me seems to indicate that the photo you are uploading is huge (over the limit which was set long time ago).  Or maybe something on TRW website got messed up? The problem with all the "i" devices (iPhones, iPads) is that it is hard to get technical info about the photos (like their resolution or size).  Apple just assumes that no "Joe Shcmoe" using the device should ever need to worry about those mundane technical details.  But unfortunately in this day and age, we still sometimes need to worry about things like photo size.

Something changed recently.  I tried to upload the same photo that I had uploaded before into the gallery and it came back with same error.

Thanks. The whole goal was to make it believable. I have a few more planned, but built to CR specs as if they had bought some and they lasted until NS.

It's probably closer to 100 or more

If the custom run would be done, I'd like to see this slightly different scheme done

I hope IMRC, if the cars ever come to fruition, does LEHX and MMID in the 3281 series
