Interesting.  The Atlas Production Schedule page shows a container shipping date of Feb 13, 2018, and no Atlas shipping date.  The ship must have made good time.  Hopefully I'll be getting an email from Chuck soon.

Thank you.  Then I probably WON'T be getting mine right away, as I ordered one of every color, and Chuck usually waits until I have a full box of stuff before shipping.  That's fine.

Is there somewhere we can see all of the available colours?  I can only find two on the Atlas website.  I definitely want to get some of these.

Tim,

In addition to the five the colors and undec shown below that Paul posted the link for after I started my reply, I am expecting we will see a second run announced that will include the additional colors that were announced for HO.  However, I cannot find that announcement on the Atlas web site, and I don't frequent web sites that have pre-orders for HO items listed.   ;)

Candy Apple Red
Wind Blue
Winter Green
Mallard Green/Wimbledon White
Sequoia Brown/Wimbledon White
Undecorated

I do remember that a solid Wimbledon White was announced, which was probably the most common color for these pickups!

Paul, how does one access the Atlas Archive?

Edit:  I played with the N url and came up with this link to the additional HO colors:  http://archive.atlasrr.com/HOFreight/arc-hof100.htm

Is the MSRP for singles or do they come in 2-packs for that price?

Peter,

The HO pickups are singles, the N scale pickups are in 2-packs.

Edit:  Here is a link to the Atlas N scale vehicles sorted so the F-100s are listed first on M. B. Klein's web site.  https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/accessories/vehicles/#filter:brand:Atlas/filter:custom_scale:N/sort:name:desc

Thanks Carter!  So even at a discounted price, each truck is about $10/$11.  To me that is reaching into Tranworx trucks price territory (considering the size and detail-level of the pickup truck vs. a big rig).  I guess I (we) just have to get used to these prices.

Thank you for the links.  I suspect that the pricing reflects the cost of injection-molded tooling for such a small model, and perhaps some licensing fees.

I would rather purchase them individually as I don't need two of hte same colour on my small layout, but my plan is to purchase a couple of different schemes and share them with others.

Paul, how does one access the Atlas Archive?

Go to the Atlas home page (shop.atlasrr.com, or www.atlasrr.com will redirect you) and there is a large banner at the top that links to the archive.  Once there, at the top left are drop down menus for each scale.

Thanks Paul, it was too obvious.
