Arnold SW1 decoder choice

Recently I bought an Arnold SW1 in B&M black with the red white stripes and want too put a decoder into it. I already know about all the tuning up of it from the wonderful right up by our one and only peteski!!! I have found three that I am aware of the TCS EUN651 and the Digitrax DZ126IN and DZ146IN. So my question is which decoder to use. I'm leaning towards the DZ126IN just because of the price but is it a good choice?

Thanks for any info on this.
Jon

I would steer you away from those choices. I know the TCS doesn’t play well with the SW1 motor (I tried it).

Instead, pay the few extra bucks for the Zimo MX-621N. It works wonderfully.

Thanks for the replies, so where does one get a Zimo in the states? I did a search and came up blank except for out of country.
Would rather buy in country if I can.

Thanks, Jon

Yes, Zimo (it does a great job controlling coreless motors).  Well worth the extra cost.

We discussed this in https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=42498.0

I get mine from https://store.sbs4dcc.com/ZIMODCC-3.aspx . MBK also carries Zimo DCC items (but they don't' keep much in stock).  Too bad you weren't looking last year- Zimo prices went up quite a bit this year. Last year they were within few dollars of Digitrax prices.
