I have not requested a quote for anything myself so nothing on cost etc., but I thought I'd share the link:

Looks like a 3D printer that deposits metal in addition to whatever the non-conductive material is.  The clear material looks pretty rigid.

Not "the first commercial use" of embedded components, though.
