Found a fun PC project for the barely ambitious kitbasher...

True, but I still find the "mating worms" logo quite clever and well done.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the PC era and the color and logo schemes. I even painted one of my Treble-O-Lectric FP7s in the black with white scheme. It's just that there was much resentment, at the time, from some NYC and Pennsy fans. My post was meant jokingly.

I always thought that "Jade Green" was the NYC color, and PC's was "Deepwater Green"?

Somewhat off-topic, is there any truth to the story that NYC's green and GN "Glacier Green" were supposed to be the same color?  They certainly look different to me, but then, the GN green looks different on (new) boxcars and covered hoppers, and they WERE the same paint.

I think they were all the same but different.

I actually have a bottle of PC green Floquil I bought the year of the merger and it's still perfect. Or, did I mention this already? I bought it to paint the black roofwalks on my atlas cars to match the carbody. It was/is a perfect match.

I was looking for something else when I came upon this.  It is the only PC model that I have.  Both car and PC are way out of my era, but, this was a Christmas gift from my little brother, who did not have much money at the time, so I keep it and am glad to have it.

I actually put MT 1500s onto it.

I also have one of those.  With good trucks and couplers it isn't a bad model, especially for a "runner", where no one is inspecting the individual cars.

I like it!  Now if only MTL would produce a model of it.  I would love to have a model with wormy ends.

Nice looking models here guys.

While I'm not a PC fan as such, I love the look of the old Alcos in black.  One of my 2 PC Alcos, I'm sure this has been posted here years ago.  PC C-636 6333,
Cheers
