Outstanding!  Just when I get the Alan Curtis kit out of storage and put primer on it.  Good news none the less. 
I hope they do some more roads of the bi-level auto racks with the side panels like that Southern one in the future too.

MTL:
Big news here is that they will be introducing underslung trucks like those made by BLMA, ExactRail and Trainworx. These trucks will be designed to lower cars to proper ride height. No word on what types of trucks will be included in this, or if the kingpin is offset or centered.

Looks like fixing ride height will be a lot easier soon!

North American Railcar:
PS 5077 box cars. Not sure if these are plate B cars or not. The guy at the both didn't even know what plate B meant.

Was there any indication if the new MTL trucks will have offset vs centered kingpins?

Also, PS 5077 is Plate B.  It's my understanding that Darrell Sawyer did most of the research, but he obviously wasn't there...

Those T4s look amazing! I may have to order another one. Triple 57' flats are also good news, gives me a car to haul all the 53' Trainworx trailers I've bought. I also see a T1 in my future. That fits nowhere on my layout, buts it's a good looking engine.

Seems like the manufacturers are shifting focus into the 60s and 70s (and later) from the 50s.   

Any hints from Rapido on what their 3 N scale locomotives will be?

On the passenger car front, the Atlas shorties look like a huge improvement over the old Bachmann cars.

 Anything in the MT booth regarding the single window coach?  I assume if there were a pre-production sample, the internet would have lit up. But hints, brochure, whispered rumor, petition to sign?

Turbo Train counts as one the other two would be though Praree Shadows... An American version of the FA and possibly the Dash 8 seen in HO

Ah ha.  I think Red Caboose did at least two different versions of the X29.  I hope FVM will do some upgrades.  The Red Caboose X29s were fair models, but not quite up to the standards of FVM with their Milwaukee Road and B&O box cars.

That is an unusual wheelset design (Atlas multilevel cars).  Tapered plastic axle with metal wheels which likely have integrated outside pointed axle stub which rides in the metal pickup plates.  The side plates seem quite thick (not that there is anything wrong with that). But the pickup plates seem awfully close to the wheel face. Just in the prototype I hope.

A quick look at the ones in my boxcar drawer shows 2 door styles. The Red Caboose cars still show up on eBay, I picked up several being sold less trucks at low prices, in addition to a few I had from the original production run.  Nice models for their time- and in a bunch of paint schemes as there were several roads that had copies or near copies.
