Everything you ever wanted to know about the Oakways is here: http://www.blurb.com/books/1603516-one-hundred-oakways

Are those EMD/Oakway models announced by Atlas good for modeling a mid-80s coal from the Burlington Northern?

I know they had EMD/Oakway 9000 - 9099 in use after 1986, but I don't know what reporting marks those SD60 were wearing.

   Javier

P.S. Looks like those Atlas models of the EMD/Oakway loco are missing the winterization hatches.

If they are like previous releases, the winterization hatch will be included as an addon by the modeler.

Thank you for the information on EMD/Oakway!     :)

Regarding the PS1 box cars:

Shouldn't the Seaboard Air Line box car have a black roof?

I don't recall any evidence of that, but SAL isn't exactly on my radar.  Do you have a picture that suggests this?

Are you thinking of a 1937 AAR 40’ Boxcar, of which IM made a model in HO?
