Most of the reefers I saw were 1970s or later paint, and none that I needed.  The ethanol cars are definitely post-1974, so I didn't look at them. 

The auto racks are of interest to me, but most are also too modern.  The NP I can certainly use, the SP is also usable, if I remove the U-1 sticker, and maybe the consolidated stencil.  The MP is fine, but I question  the date on the Frisco car.  Athearn says "1966+", but how many yellow TTX flats were around in 1966?

All the 30ks are Ethanol! I’m safe for this run. If they do the body mounts on Procor LPG cars, then I’ll bite.

The Frisco flats are yellow because they're Frisco, not because of TTX.  The consolidated stencil messes it up for a perfect 60's rack.

The COTS is easy enough to remove to backdate the car.  It's nice to see the tri-levels appear.

More N&W love on the racks, so must have for me.

A little weird to have so many N&W racks with yellow bottoms (which makes them 1970+). I wish they had done some with brown TTX flats ...

Will need to remove this: [ Guests cannot view attachments ] and add something correct.

Will need a few racks from the other roads too.

I have to go look at my earlier run Ethanol cars now. Did they not have body-mounts? This is a re-tooling then?

Does 'Late November' mean these are about to show up?  Or will they show up year from now?  From past performance I'd expect the latter, but they I wonder, why be so specific?

Me too Jerry, I'm in the same "less modern" transition era boat, and these are indeed "more modern" , yes?
Too bad, we've got a decent number of steam releases over the last few years, but not much in the way of era-appropriate new cars to pull behind them...
Still, I'm happy for the "more modern" guys

I have to go look at my earlier run Ethanol cars now. Did they not have body-mounts? This is a re-tooling then?

Anything before now was truck mounted. I don’t know if this was a full retooling or just a glued on coupler box. Should be interesting.
