My photos get around

I was reading the current (Nov 2017) issue of Model Railroad Hobbyist and on page 18 were photos I took of freight car trucks for the N scale truck directory that eventually made it to Mark's page:
http://spookshow.net/trucks/trucks.php

But the photos were attributed to a Prof. Klyzlr. Pretty sure that's NOT my name.
You've crossed the walls, excelled
Further along through their hell
All for my heart, I watch you kill
You always have, you always will
Now spread your wings and sail out to me

I have seen photos I took of my equipment around the web, particularly on eBay, too.

My hope on the eBay ones is that the winning bidder doesn't get exactly what's pictured and forces a refund from the seller.

you could have them take the photos down, or provide proper credit ..

Just Email Joe Fugate through the mag and provide the proper links and documentation. He’s really god about this sort of thing.

If you go to the next page you'll see that Prof. Klzlr references the spookshow site.

The Motorman uses photos I took of coreless motor innards  in his eBay listings without any credit given. I need to call him out on that one of these days.

That name seems made up, like a placeholder that was used while they tracked down the real person - but never did.

One would think. Searches lead one to believe he's a modeler in Sydney.

In that case, Spook should do the credits ..

I've seen a couple of mine out there. Don't really care.

Tend to agree. I used to get all worked up about it. But resistance against copyright infringement is becoming futile.

I found some of my images on a CD sold on eBay by a guy that threatened to sue me for harassment because I was after him for stealing my photos.

I had a guy in France adamantly claim it was his right to steal whatever he wanted from me (he copied an entire 500-page website of mine).

I used to put watermarks on images, then found one on Wikipedia where they removed the watermark and refused to restore it.

It's not worth the aggravation to go after thieves anymore.

(he copied an entire 500-page website of mine).

Realize its not the same thing, but I printed out the entire JRB and WR&N websites from the Internet Archive and have them in binders in my library...  :D

The only photo of mine that has ever been published (in a non model railroad related book) was published without credit. The person who supplied it was incredibly apologetic, but like others I'm not too worried about it, photography is a fun hobby not a career so...

One photo was on a buddies no offline steel mill forum. The guy claimed it was his when he posted it. I replied something like LOL I took that from the front seat of my car. He insisted it was his photo.

Was this pic that I took from my car at the end of the street I live on...

Wasn't like that guy make any money off of it. It was more funny to me that he kept insisting it was his own photo.
