Come on over we're havin' an ALLAGASH bash! - I love this kind of construction and you can really
only accomplish this is HO. Lestico did do it in N. But a modern minimalist approach. The shot of the
thru the backdrop is given Ed wood. Or almost as good as this. https://gizmodo.com/i-have-a-few-questions-about-this-bacon-vending-machine-1830943279

Track to the tipple goes behind the column....

Wrapped it in a photo, will be screened by pine trees....

The slope in front of the pole is a bit too steep, so I added some rock castings.....

But I didn’t like the way the rocks stuck out at the bottom.....so I filled in below....

Really nice work - I especially like how you are handling the forest floor.  What material are you using?

Base is real dirt, dried and sifted. Then dead leaves, chopped up in a blender, then sifted. Dead grass is cut from natural twine.

Better start spending money on Woodland Scenics.  Can't get published in the rags if you don't feather the nest of the advertisers!
The work is fantastic.  Love the camouflaged column.

Getting back to work on the river crossing......first photo I used had too much greenery for my late winter/early spring timeframe....

I came across a local stream and climbed down and took some photos....much better....
