They've been slowly adding pages to the new site in the recent weeks and today sent out an email that it's back up.  I can't find a search function so hopefully they are working on that.  It the meantime you can still go to the old site and search and then go back and find the same magazine.

Dang, you can't download pages like you used to be able to. So much for convenience.

you appear to be able to search within in an issue.  Hopefully the broader search will come on line later.

So glad!!!  Too many good articles for the site not to be restored... way too important of a resource!!!

Two years ago I offered to help repair their site (it was hacked and crashed) and was told that they were 'days' away from having it repaired and back up (BTW: professional IT guy here offering free services to them). I HOPE it is about to be back up and think that it is an EXTREMELY VALUABLE resource (the magazine archive is INCREDIBLE), but until it is...it isn't. Oh, and I've also offered several times to scan and post magazine issues that they are missing and been told 'no thanks'. I do wish them the best and that they get the site back up and repaired. I used it on a regular basis and miss having it regularly...and if they need any help, they have my contact info.

Slightly disappointing that there is no obvious way to download the PDFs. (Or am I missing something?) But the scans are much nicer and easier to read then the original site...

Nope, not missing anything. I tried numerous ways to download and even searched for WordPress-specific cheater apps, but nothing. I did send a complaint to the site though. Having workbench access to images and articles was a nice feature of the old site.

Found a way to save on my Mac: click on the file when downloaded using Chrome, then Cmnd+S - you may need to do this a couple of times.  A new window then opens and yo can right click and save as a pdf.  Probably works on Cntrl+S for PC's.

I didn't try it in Chrome but that doesn't work in Seamonkey (another flavor of Mozilla/Firefox) on a PC.  The page is done in Java script so the PDF file being viewed  in the browser is most likely stored in the temporary directory. There is a good chance that if you found where it is stored, you could copy it as a PDF.

If you'd like more direct access to the magazines, download the attached file and rename it with an .htm extension.

Don't say I never did nothing for you.
