Use the Select Micro.  Although, the Micro-Direct Select is actually the same decoder (it just plugs into a drop in board).

I think that the newest version of JMRI (4.9) no longer distinguishes between the Select Direct and the Select Micro, since, as Rick B. points out, they are in fact the same decoder (the Direct is just a replacement board for HO-scale diesels that the micro plugs into).  At least, Dave Heap, who does the JMRI code for ESU's decoders, indicated that he was going to consolidate these two choices into one to eliminate confusion.  So if you use JMRI 4.9 and see a choice for "Select Direct/Micro," use that.
