My understanding is this train is pre-booked and they will run the cars whether or not the customer supplies a trailer.

Isn't that the "Iron Road" train between Montreal and Toronto?  I wish more of the trucks on the 401/20 were on that...

Yes, although the name was changed to Xpressway a few years ago.

I failed to get my own picture, but this guy (NS No. 38) was in Newark, Delaware, sitting on the Northeast Corridor on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 20, 2017:

It's hard to read in the photograph, but the lettering under the road number on the cab side says, "The Brick."  Love it!

I wish I knew more about this former rail served mill in Chestertown, Maryland, but I don't. It was formerly served by the Pennsylvania, but the line in to the town was discontinued by the MDDE in the early 1980's. There is a short section of light rail on the left. The last customer in town was a fertilizer plant. From a coworker, the state had finished a small yard in town and shut the line down the following year.

I caught a CSX extra D995-25 this morning coming thru New Oxford, PA on Sunday.  Please excuse the static on the last horn blast, too much for my phone speaker to take.
