Trees are getting me that much closer to a completed scene.

The Seaboard Central ran a local from Star, North Carolina to Aberdeen and returned this afternoon:

Winter may be coming here in the Northern Hemisphere, but spring has sprung on the Seaboard Central!

Now, I need to build a few more trees and plant some kudzu on the far side of the track and trestle.

Aly saw me working on the flowers and foliage, and she asked to run a train.  No problem!

Thanks, guys!  I was inspired to keep going, so a base layer of ground foam was applied to an adjacent area.  This is the first scene that you see when you enter the train room, so these small steps are really paying off.  I also placed another order for more scenery materials from Scenic Express, so stay tuned.

Looking really good Dave.
I’ve yet to try static grass, I have the tools and the grass, wondering what is the best glue to use over already ground covered with woodlands scenics ground cover?

@Steveruger45,

I just use the same glue.  Diluted white glue or WS Scenic Cement.  Whichever I have at the time.  Just wet the existing ground foam, stick the spike from the static grass applicator in the wet glue, and go to town.

Thanks,
DFF
