I got in 10  pieces in to day (5 Pair). Drop a pair in to MT 1025 coupler boxes. The coupler is a little larger than knuckle the MT1025. They couple with MT couplers without any problems.

Good to know. Are they as large as the McHenrys or heaven forbid . . . the Bachmannn "boxing gloves"? I also ordered 10 pieces today (from SBS).

MT used to sell just the 1025 boxes.  I bought 500 pair in 2012(?), although I had to email them and ask.  At that time they would sell just the box sprue, without having to buy an entire coupler kit.

You would also need springs, but if you ask, they probably sell them as well.

My boxes were for body mounting couplers after lowering boxcars.  No point buying entire new couplers when the truck mounts use 1025s.

A spare parts set for the firm's 1023 and 1025 couplers, the Micro-Train Line stock number 1029 (Product Code: 003 12 040) Small Parts Packet contains (along with a bunch of other replacement parts) three draft gear boxes with lids, twelve centering springs, and twelve trip pins.

https://www.micro-trains.com/312040?search=1029&description=true

Containing twelve of the N-1 centering springs, the product code for a package of just the springs is 001 12 001.

They are just a hair larger than the MT. You have to take a real close look to tell the difference.

I needed this crane to couple with earlier work train builds, so finally tried a set of these couplers. Man, the tooling is nice on these. Detail on the knuckle is sharp.

As for the couplers, they were created by Seiichi Ito of Tokyo, Japan.  I was contacted via cold call from the US Agent in Seattle? upon referral by one of my clients.  The agent is not a modeler so does not know about trains or parts.  I will forward feedback for their consideration.

Seiichi Ito is the name of a young (well, he was "young" at the time!) Japanese HOn30 modeler who's layout was featured in Model Railroader or Narrow Gauge Short Line Gazette many years ago.

His HOn30 layout was pretty outstanding for a young modeler.  He'd made masters for and cast (in low-melting point metal) for his locomotives (small Plymouth clones) and some of his cars.  The layout featured Shinohara Code 60 HOn30 track (IIRC).  It was a very nicely done Japanese logging layout.

Beautiful model Mike! 8)

Too bad these couplers aren't a little smaller (I've had them "bookmarked" on Ebay forever). Otherwise - they sure have a nice appearance.

Streamlined Backshop carries them too. (so you can order some couplers along with some ESU decoders).  Or at least they did some time ago (when I bought them there).
