Panasonic G9 Hi-Res Test

The Panasonic g9 has a neat "hi res" mode where it takes 8 photos while shifting the sensor 1/2 pixel in each direction.  The end result is a 20MB (or 80MB RAW!!!) image 10368 pixels across. The other advantage is the image is sharper with more accurate color, as there is no color interpolation needed since the sensor movement compensates for the Bayer array.

I thought I would test it out on a HO scale tunnel motor I've been weathering for the book.

This is a 100% crop of the final image:

And this is a 100% crop after the image was resized by 33%:

It's really great! The sharpness and detail is amazing.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Please keep in mind that @chicken45 's craps are usually quite UN-holy.
