I spoke with ExactRail.  They said they will have a new N Scale car this year.  Tight lipped on what it was.

LOL, that's what they told me last year.

Long awaited Southern Pacific Black Widow SD9s in the 2017 Atlas N scale catalog.   Last time they were mfg'd by Atlas/Kato = 1992.  25 years... that's about right,  Time for the "anniversary" of the Atlas/Kato Black Widow SP "Cadillacs".   Here comes Mr. Wallet's giant sucking sound......  :)

If Atlas has the pre-production samples of the N scale Ford F-100 pickups on display, could someone get some decent photos of them?

I am thinking the N scale version may look better than the pre-production HO scale version shown on the Atlas website.

These were nowhere to be found at the Atlas booth.  When I asked about them I was told that they lost them somewhere between the last show and Springfield.  Cory is also missed at Atlas.

Found these at the Atlas booth on Saturday. The tag says 60 ft Passenger and Head End cars. I didn't have a chance to ask about them and have no idea if their close to prototype or not.

We seem to have 2 parallel threads on this going on here.  See https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=41083.0 for almost identical photos (with more info about the models).

Pete, They didn't let you take those cars apart and a review while you were there?

Pete,

Thanks for checking!  Paul told me he would get some photos for me after Trainfest, but they never showed up.  Now I know why.   :(

Ah, you're a newbie - you can't access the Crew Lounge until you have certain number of posts (25 IIRC).  Keep on posting and you'll get to that link eventually.  :D

Hey Peteski, finally able to read the entire thread.  Disappointed to see Cory go but life moves on and hopefully he'll come back once in a while.  You can take the boy out of the trains but you can't take the trains out of the boy!  I did posted a well wish message for him.  Hope he gets it, I'm a few months late.  :(

I did see your post. Cory is still around - if you look at his profile he visited the forum today.
