Crude cell pics here - each side is a mirror image of the other:

So it looks like all one would have to do is
fill in
(correction - enlarge to full height!) the small window on the left (aisle) side and the sides would be pretty close to Federal View

The other details (interior, floor, ceiling, lack of skirts, not to mention full-width diaphragms!) are another matter.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Mark5,
Thank you very much! I can develop a plan from this for when when the prices come down. Reveler, dark blue with gold stripes, some window work. Looks like the roof fittings will need scratch built bummer.

The Reveller also had "Challenger" or "Napoleon Hat" type trucks (Kato has done a friction bearing type under the SP Daylight cars).
Oddly enough, the trucks Bachmann tooled for these cars are a modern Columbus Castings Inside Swing Hanger version used under the Holland America Maxi Domes and under the FRA test car DOTX 221.

Other mods include putting flush windows in and replace the deep sea diving bell look of them. I'll stick with my modified KATO version.
