Wondering if anybody has seen windows like this offered anywhere. In N, or anything close to N. I'm talking about a wide row of them, at least an inch or so.

If you want them clear, you could try drawing the lines, in a graphics program or in Excel, then having them printed on clear plastic.  Most office supply stores today can do laser printing on "transparency" film, and since these look like black frames, it would be very simply to do.

For that matter, if you don't want them clear, you can spray the back side whatever color you need.

Years ago, I made roundhouse windows that way at work, by printing them on paper, then running a transparency sheet, for overhead projectors, through the office copier.  Apparently some of today's copiers, and laser printers, are too hot for plastic, so I wouldn't  try the boss's, unless you already know it will work.

I was going to print something like what you are looking for on transparency using my Alps printer for a scratchbuilt engine service facility. Since Alps can print silver, black, white, or any other color over white that would work well. But that project got mothballed, so I don't know how they would look.

The ones I listed in action. Would look better with a little more weathering

Roof is a photo as well.

Peteski's Alps would be great if you need color.  In my case, I wanted black frames, so the copier was fine, and free.

Yep 2 layers. Corrugated over the rest. So the windows are in-set.

The windows on this HO brass caboose were done using an Alps on transparency film. The silver worked well for aluminum window frames and a thin line of black added a shadow to represent thickness.

I have also used it for window frames / muttons on structures. Wouldn't be hard to do a large window sheet.

Archer Surface Details has N-scale 12x12 and 12x18 (scale inches) sized window sheets (http://archertransfers.com/AR88112.html)which are raised resin muntins printed on clear decal sheets if you want a 3-D option. A bit more expensive, but may be worth it for a foreground structure.

Those Archer windows look pretty good. If you guys have ever seen one of those big old factories with massive walls of glass you'll know what I'm looking for.

Laser printing does the trick.  I've used it for several projects, all with great success.

Walthers  N Scale Roundhouse windows look similar. Might be worth purchasing a kit and doing some kit-bashing.

The Archer sheets are decals. So you apply them like decals? Can they be flexed when wet or do the resin details flake off?
