If you choose carefully you can get a two powered PAs and an unpowered PB for $167.99 OR you can get two powered PAs for $137.99 with different road numbers.

Getting two DCC+Sound PAs for $147 is pretty good. Glad they are sold out of SP Daylight so it doesn't tempt me!

What a deal! I just got two more powered ATSF A's, and just happen to have an extra B unit. The AB sets were sold out. That gives me two ABA sets, all that I need. Time to retire the Katos...hmm maybe they become the power chassis for my Lifelike Eriebuilts :?

While I enjoyed getting two DCC sound equipped PA's for under $69 a piece, substantially less than the price of a good sound decoder, I wonder whether this means we're not going to see new BLI diesel offerings in N scale anytime soon. They are obviously following Hornby's lead and dumping the units at well below cost, I would guess, and so I have to wonder whether this is actually a good thing.... I like to get a deal as much as the next guy, but also want my N scale manufacturers/importers to be financially heathy and eager to bring more stuff to the market. Time will tell...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just a deal from a retailer and not BLI itself?

Well, my bad, you're right of course. Still, how does a retailer do it at such a huge markdown?
