Yes - disappointed in that I won't be able to run these at the January Great Train Show in Sacramento (or possibly even the February show in San Jose), but pleased that the decision was made to put quality over schedule.

Scale Trains has just earned my business for anything they produce that I can use.   The check, received by a smiling Nick Kallas, goes a long way toward getting the 18 under cover.

I share Jim's sentiment, it's wonderful to see a model railroad business contribute meaningfully to the cause.
Now if they only produced something I can actually use :D
Wait, the 2926 currently undergoing renovation in Albuquerque would be a great candidate...

That is amazing. These guys have class. Their person-to-person relationship with modelers was already breaking the mold, but this is beyond the pale. Thumbs-up all around.

Feeling happy that I pre-ordered their ES44AH (CSX). Hope the beast is still tracking for late 2017/early 18.

I am very much looking forward to the ST ET44C4s I ordered. Now when might we expect the 5181s in N Scale...?

I seem to recall that there's supposed to be a second run announced sometime this winter?
Or did I dream that?

Scale Trains had a production sample of N Scale Second Run Turbine #30 at the Spring Creek Model Trains Open House and Train Show back in July.  So they're definitely doing a second run, but I cannot find an announcement or delivery schedule for it on their website.

In any case, I too am looking forward to all of Scale Trains future offerings!   Getting to run the production sample Tier4 Gevo on the layout back in July was pure joy.

Have a 3 but a 1 or 2 or both would be a sale . Those 3 came in the late 50's when steam was still alive .
