Ah ha, I was actually thinking of “My Cousin Vinnie” when I posted that.  What a great movie.

I suppose I could have titled the photo laziness as those are Halloween decorations that are not yet put up.

Those are the last two guys who pointed out flaws in Philip's weathering techniques.  They're just back from feeding the alligators.

Being a holiday, it occurred to me that the latest and final revised plan for which this benchwork has been built is not in fact in this thread.  SO . . .

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

The two segments in question will underpin the plan with the metal forming and plastics plants along US 61 - also know in that part of Baton Rouge as Scenic Highway.

now if someone can just convert that to an image . . . .

Will Elkins, Louisiana be used for the staging yard?   That looks like a fun plan to work.

Just put some alligators in where the Hellbenders would have been and the transition will be complete!

Managed to get the second of the modules skinned:

next up is to prewire and then glue on the foam tops before wall mounting.

As it turns out I do need more red and yellow as those were Rustoleum rattle cans I had lying about the garage.

Good help is easy to find when you have a 10 year old who loves to do projects with dad. She’s spreading foam safe construction adhesive ahead of gluing the foam to a benchwork section.

And then we follow the fine southern tradition of weighing down the glue joint with what ever is handy in the shop.

Interesting side note - one tube of Liquid Nails Project adhesive will just about do a 6foot by 18 inch foam segment if buttered to the foam by a 10 year old.
