Any luck with the logo?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Well, the reset button didn't do squat with the sound, and I had already done a CV8=8 reset back to factory defaults. I don't see any loose wires; the speaker side connections look solid. Loco runs great, light effects work, just no sound whatsoever. Sending it back to BLI daddy...

Otto,
Did you get the Loco  back and get the logo removed?
Just curious.

Jon, geez, thank you for reminding me! I sent an inquiry to BLI, set the unit aside, never heard back, and forgot all about it.... I guess I have too many projects on my hands, can't keep it all straight.

I just sent another inquiry to BLI support and will give it a few days. Meanwhile, I did another CV8=8 reset, took the shell off and tried the reset button with no luck. Everything seems reset to factory defaults, but it's still mute. Loco runs fine.... I don't see any loose connections, either.

Glad you asked!

I used the jelly from Sterno cans along with a dulled toothpick to remove factory lettering on a Bachman engine. Just blob it on for 15-20 minutes and it should lift up!

Well, in the interest of full disclosure, I did get a quick response from BLI this time, along with a copy of their response from January that I never got....perhaps my spam filter stepped in. They offered to send a new decoder, or to repair the engine. Can't fault BLI for their support.

Otto,

You may want to hit F5 on your controller

This is the ramp diesel engine up button

I've been messing with BLI PA's lately -- loads of fun -- not!!
