I haven't posted here for a while but I thought I'd post an update on my little urban layout.

Thanks for peeping!

Great to see you here again.  The layout has come along very nicely, especially those roads.

Really like the road and sidewalk details, not something you see done often.

Working on the warehouse a bit today.  Need to make some more parts to tie the blue trim in with the new bit.

Didn't you have a whole build thread here?

Yeah but I lost it, I think it expired or something.

I've never attached individual letters to a building to make a sign before,  I think it turned out pretty good.  Could always be more perfect.  Also made some stairs and railings and a fire exit.

It's amazing what you can do with some cheap posterboard and some focused radiation.

That's actually very cool. Probably more architecture than one coud find in a real warehouse, but very very cool.
Don't tell me, there's a prototype somewhere for the canted walls...like I said, very very cool.

Really excellent and unique work on display here.  Thanks for the updates!

Didn't you have a whole build thread here?

Old thread is here.  I can merge these if you like, but I think this is a whole new layout, correct?

Not necessarily, depends how much money the owner wants to flaunt and desired impression on customers. Here's a local one:

https://www.google.com/maps/@44.7897532,-93.4449561,3a,75y,31.67h,91.07t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s_IYTRxPbm4d3IjW9omBIOg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

You can see the office/entry if quite architectural and the backside warehouse/production is more practical. Not necessarily the norm but it's out there.

Anyways, very cool layout, always like the quality and slightly European vibe, keep it up!

It reminds me of a building I just recently saw in Pittsburgh.

The only thing missing is the damaged wall where the engineer got the car count wrong on that spur on the left.
