Archer decal question

Do you use Microscale solutions or Solvast?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I use Micro Set.  Solvaset is too aggressive for the delicate Archer rivets.

I often use Solvaset - sometimes I dilute it a bit with water to make it weaker.

Oh, I use it frequently, just not on Archer rivets.

Okay, so I'm the outlier here.  I use Solvaset, and only Solvaset, on everything, including Archer rivets.
You just have to be careful and quick.  Set them in place, wick off the water, let them set on there.  Then
ONE quick brush of Solvaset and do NOT touch them .... AT ALL... until it dries.

I have used Solvaset on every Archer rivet decal I have ever used.  I don't even own the Microscale setting solutions.

Maybe that's how I get them to stay in place on brass.  They don't stick nearly as well to brass as they do to plastic.
But they will hold up until you get some paint sprayed over them if you handle them carefully.

I agree with Max.  My techniques and universal usage are the same.  I applied Archer rivets to my master AC&Y SS box car shell in this manner.  After going through the mold making process they held tight.  The Micro products may have produced the same result but I've no experience with them.
