Well, you said you thought the speaker had something to do with it.  I doubt it.  Looks like a very standard N scale EMD fuel tank.  In fact, I'd wager it's the same outside dimensions as the SD45-2.

Actually, I have been meaning to ask this question. What gear puller do you use to adjust the half axles? I have two Mascot tools: the half circle with the thumb screw, and the one that looks a bit like a tiny wine bottle opener. On both tools, the jaws are too wide apart to comfortably fit a wheelset.

I am also looking for something to remove worms without damage. Any ideas?

I found and bought a miniature arbor press at a surplus electronics store.  How I do it is documented in https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=40336.msg499203#msg499203

While the subject is up, for those with access to a lathe or mill, here's a small press sold as a jeweler's watch case press but I found it useful for the press frame.  Small but appropriate for a lot of things encountered around modelling.  The frame is quite rigid and well guided.  Machine the upper and lower dies to suit the need and drop them in.  It could be used as an axle or flywheel press.

Pete won't put them as arrived until he has sent out all of his current reserved orders.  Plus he may not have gotten his at the same time as MBKlein.  Or he just may be slow.  Although I know of a couple times he never did update the web page to say an item has arrived, but when I "reserved" one it came right away.

Yep.  I'm grateful IMR made the 40/45T-2 but yes the cab always looked off and the details somewhat exaggerated and the shell construction over engineered.  I replaced mine with Atlas cabs

That CSX unit has the wrong trucks for the road number, they are suppose to be flexicoil.

If Atlas makes the correct version you should be able to swap the proper side frames right on, or the whole truck if you're inclined, unless IM decided to make their own trucks.

Obviously it refers to the amount of time it takes Intermountain to bring an announced product to actual release. 

Glad to see these finally hitting the shelves. Hoping for more availability as so far they seem in short supply.
