In the past, I had reps tell me they understood the problem and were working on a simpler interface.  If those pics are right, they dropped the biggest ball they had to drop, product wise.

I switched from Digitrax due to complexity (although the dT100 were okay for regular running) and suspect it holds many others back, as well.  With new throttles, simplicity would have made some sense.

Hope I am missing something in this discussion, besides the sarcasm!

Honestly, I've had a DT400 for over ten years that I upgraded to a DT402D a few years ago.  It really isn't hard to use, and I'm no electronics or DCC wizard.  The DT402D may not be the most ergonomic controller out there, but it's not complicated.  I can accept that Digitrax may have gone by the old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
