:|   I had to replace these parts on the pair of Santa Fe H16 -44 locomotives that have run for thousands of hours on my branchline for operating sessions, and the similar UP pair that replaced them when the SF locos were out of service now show signs of similar replacement pending. Atlas had the parts in stock for the first replacement and a big thanks goes out to Robert 3985 for his installation and testing. I ran my SD24's 7's and 9's for countless hours at train shows without any problems , but now that the Wasatch N Scale layout is mostly DCC the locomotives that I bring to shows have mostly changed like Bachmann, drive rod problems on steamers, or having to occaisionally reset CV Values on a DD40 X . Sorry to hear that you own, so many SLOS locomotives that all suffer from this syndrom. Nate Goodman (Nato).  :|

Someone down-voted Nato's post?  Since nothing there seems to be worth down-voting, I hope it was unintentional.   I fixed it.

Remember when @TiVoPrince got banned from trainboard for calling the Intermountain tunnel motors "steaming yard loafs"?  Pepperidge Farm remembers...  :ashat:

FTW - That is amazing! and sad that they would ban someone for a colorful metaphor...

From that day forward, "steaming yard loaf" has occupied a sacred place in my own lexicon.   :D

And now mine, too!  :D

This thread is titled, "Question for Altas guys."  Is that the same manufacturer that made this locomotive?
