One of my fave online dealers just posted an announcement that the pending re-issues and new Challenger versions are not to be expected until after March 2017. IIRC, some (or all) were slated for this fall. Considering the UP 4014 and NP/SP&S Challenger versions were to be in this batch... oops. At least it's confirmation they weren't caught-up in the Hanjin debacle. :D :facepalm:

My crystal ball says next summer. Just a hunch.

It seems that it will still be sooner than the time that elapsed between the original and the 2nd run.  I didn't pick mine up in the initial run (and I lucked out since they changed DCC decoders) and it took years for them to be rerun.

Actually as much as I want my 4014, I'm kinda glad it is happening that way. At least I wont have to pony up for both the Big Blow #18 and the Big Boy at the same time as it seems to going to happen.

I keep waiting on those Custom Model Trains UPP flat cars that are still MIA.

The additional delay is good for my budget, too.

Wife's unexpected surgery (she's OK!), a new grandchild just arrived, another on the way and a daughter's wedding between now and March.

My checkbook's got a busy 6 months ahead.
