DS64 ( Digitrax )

Hi guys ,
I use many DS64 to control my turnouts , going in a big yard and having to signal only the number of the arrival track is so much easy and fun .

Now the bad part , on one of the DS64 , it looks like 2 of the 4 outlets to turnouts don't respond anymore , did you ever had that problem ?
I checked the voltage and nothing is going out of these 2 .

Is it possible I will have to reprogram that one ?
Thanks ,
Louis

Louis -- start with resetting to factory default, then reprogram .. see if that work ..

you can also hook it up to JMRI and read the configuration .. if it's ok, then take the wires out for the two that don't work, and reinsert them ..

start with that, and see if it fixes the problem ...

My DS-64s sometimes loose their program

Louis,

Our club layout has 16 DS64's and we had one that gave us some headaches as you are experiencing. We basically tried everything that John has suggested above, to no avail. One of the ports was just dead. We sent it back to Digitrax and received a repaired ( ? ) or new one in it's place. All is good and has been for a couple of years now. Knock on wood.
