I wonder if there is a parts list for all components needed to assemble say a dump truck or log truck?

It's pretty easy to figure out, I think.

You select the cab option you want, noting the parts it comes with.
You then fill in what is missing , like tanks, air breather, stacks and flaps.
You need a rear suspension and a utility frame for the dump box or log truck.
You need front wheels and rear wheels.
and then you need the dump box and/or log trailer.
The engine is optional.

I think I paid about $19 for a Fed Ex Peterbilt.  I priced out all the parts needed to make a tractor just like this and it came to $35.51 (and I still have to put it together and it comes with no decals).  Don't get me wrong, I don't want the decals---I just want plan white tractors.  I sure hope they decide to come out with  assembled models in popular colors such as black, red, and white.

I looks at the red Kenworth 800's and had dozens of rural fire truck ideas to by in my head . . . . Just wish Athearn sold their fire bodies as separate parts.

They are available direct from Trainworx, but if there is a hobby shop in Australia that carries the Trainworx line, they should be able to get them for you.

I am expecting to see them at Model Train Stuff (M.B. Klein) at some point in the near future since they currently carry the trailer parts.  Pat told me last year that he occasionally checks the trailer parts inventory at Klein's, and if they are low, he asks them if they would like to order more parts.   

I really hope there will be many hobby shops that will carry the truck parts so that this will be a successful endeavor for Trainworx. 

Also, assembly is relatively easy despite the small parts.  It is hard to believe that dump truck is only 2 inches long!

The retail price for the parts to make the Kenworth T800 shown above totals $33.74.  You could reduce that by $1.19 by not purchasing the engine.

Hopefully the hobby shop that sold you the FedEx Peterbilt will also carry the truck parts and offer them at a similar discount.

I have managed to get a few more trucks built.

The first one is a Peterbilt 379 with the Unibilt sleeper.


Next is a Peterbilt 379 with the 36-inch sleeper and headache rack.


This Peterbilt 351 has a little shorter wheelbase than the Duel truck.


And finally, a short wheelbase Kenworth T800. I did fix the mirrors after the photo was taken.
