N-Scale Weekend Altoona PA & New Email AUG. 20 & 21

I am attending and staying over in town Saturday.  Is there any criteria or benefit to registering as a "participant" vs: general admission if you aren't actually displaying or selling?  It seems that the cost is basically the same at $10 for both days if I'm understanding the intro post.

Be sure to bring one of your narrow gauge chassis that you've been working on. You can give it a run on Killashandra.
I'd love to see it in operation in person.

I wish!   I'm holding off showing the chassis until it's closer to completion and available.  I'm still waiting on machine and fixture time to complete the 25 or so final chassis prototype test units.  What I will throw in my bag for those who care (because it's easy and might show I'm not all hot air) is the variety of 24", 26" (trolley), and  33" N and Nn3 nickel/ silver wheel sets (also did several 24" in tungsten for testing) and final drive worm gear sets which are functionally complete. The wheels still need the second operation which finishes the varieties of cosmetic face.  On the faces there will be standard dished, then dished/ drilled, and then hex nut center types for the PCC trolley.  More will be added as needed but that satisfies my immediate needs for the testing.

I am looking forward to meeting a bunch of the folks and seeing a lot of cool train stuff!

Sold a few items today, was hoping to move more.  There's still tomorrow thanks to @R L Smith , stop by and buy our stuff !  Ron doesn't want to pack it up and bring it home.

Also picked up a few cars and by pure dumb luck, I didn't bring home cars that I already own !  Double score !!

I missed you guys at 11.  We got wrapped up in fixing some issues on the layout and lost track of time.  I did meet an  while out railfanning between the curve and town.

Good time this year at the NScale weekend, love the new location and the air conditioning. I picked up a few must haves and a few what was I thinking items on Saturday.

Attended the show on Saturday. 
Enjoyed the new location. 
Saw some familiar faces and met a few of the Railwire guys.
Picked up a few items. 
Saw some good deals on other items.
The family enjoyed the show as well.

Great job to Mike & crew for putting this together!
