Got my 2 LIRR blue wave units the other day. Noticed a whine from one, and the other a bit noisy, too. Frame halves too tight! White grease at trucks, but not in gears, they were dry. Added light Woodland Scenics oil to gears, lightly snugged frame together, and now up to Atlas quality. Almost. One loco has Sinclair antenna not flush with cab roof. And handrails are GLUED to sill! Ugh. Really?
