Lee @wm3798 started the craze, and an alignment of the stars has allowed me to join in on the fun!  This fall I will have a two-car set of Atlas PS-1 boxcars decorated in my layout's name, the Bridgeport & New London. The price will be whatever the list price is for two standard Atlas boxcars of the upcoming release plus shipping. Just giving a heads-up for those who may want to get a pair. I'll have more details once the cars are in hand. Here is a photo of the final pre-production pilot model from China that was sent for approval.

Way out of era but I can rust them up and leave them on a siding! Nice.

I think that car is supposed to have black ends.

...and in that photo it seems to ride a bit high.  The coupler also seems way out of scale (both in size and shape).

Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor!

I know I'll be getting a pair. I think black doors would have been a nice touch.

You guys are just toooo funny!  :P  Sure looks sweet next to one of the PS-1s painted in the parent road though!  :D

I did consider it.  But I wanted the "subsidiary" road to have a little bit of autonomy from the NHNY&H parent as well as being a little more frugal.  8)

I like it.  Might have to go ahead and build a layout to run something like that on!

Any thoughts as to a price point yet?  Need to start scrounging nickels out of people's couches... :D

Same as the MSRP for a pair of the standard Atlas cars, which I believe would be $57.90.
