Colorado narrow gauge turntable and roundhouse in HOn3

I have been building an engine terminal for my freelanced Colorado railroad in HOn3.
The roundhouse is based on the Como roundhouse model from Model masterpieces.
I have departed from the original as I skipped the boiler house and built full height doors as the roundhouse had as built (but was altered to lower doors later on).
I model the late 30's, so it is a bit modelers license involved....
:-)
The cast plaster walls were painted stone by stone (almost...):

The turntable is also a Model masterpieces kit with the pit and drive home made.

The 3D printed gearbox:

The base with turntable and rails to the roundhouse:

Getting it all assembled was a real chore.

Pre assembled the rafters which later will be glued to the removable roof:

Most of the ground cover in place.

Interior view with wooden floor on the left three stalls:

Stacks and roof beams in place:

Door construction:

I have mounted the hinges on half of the doors.

It's great fun to get them to work properly.

Here I've painted the doors on the roundhouse:

Something is hiding within:

Ahh, it's the old C19...

Black and white version:

Love the stonework! I've visited the Como roundhouse in person and that looks dead-on.

I see you're modeling the roundhouse prior to the lightning strike.  :D Very nice!

Nicely done.  I especially like the stone work and the turntable pit.

That is absolutely stunning! Would you be able to describe your process for painting the stonework?
Because why not...

Wow, top notch craftsmanship in every aspect of this scene!  Thank you for posting, and sorry for not commenting sooner.  Do you have more layout photos online?

I missed this the first time around... very nice I like the rusty boiler in the pile of junk!

How did you accomplish the shadows/highlights on your figures?
