A PC fl9 leads a freight through Bradylake Ohio, this is the scene where my scratchbuilt truss bridge will be crossing over the mainline, still need to add lots of trees, line poles and ballast and weather track! Just figured I'd set my new fl9 up for a picture its a spectacular model Rapido did an outstanding job on these so I made an exception and got one even though I doubt the prototype fl9's probably never made it to Ohio but hey its PC and anything is not too much of a stretch with PC :D

Oh man. I love the Pennsy trailer there too. I have a few undecs I'm using for similar uses. They're great in that role.

Thanks for the comments! I need to weather these vehicles next. Also got some undecorated trailers that I'm going to decal and weathet up to add, I'm really enjoying this project a diversion from the bridge work. Aside from this I'm laying track and doing wiring hope to run trains soon. I'll keep posting updates.

Have you tried to put any static grass in there?

Back to the Truss bridge scene, working on a bridge pier since there was a truss bridge and a deck plate bridge at this area I'm modeling I decided to cut and file piers out of 1" foam and then get the right blend of grout to cover the foam, I'll do this with my scratchbuilt styrene abutments too if it looks good. Here's result so far as it's drying may have to lighten the grout a bit.

Track weathering started, sprayed a coat of Rustoleum camouflage beige this paints totally flat so no sheen, going to do some chalk weathering next then ballast then more chalk weathering.

so most folks that use the camo spray bombs choose brown.  How'd you get to beige?

Did some more track weathering with Rustoleum camouflage spray bomb then chalks and rubbing alcohol weathering on ties, doing some ballast now.

Got some wiring done trains can now run on about 18' of mainline. Got out some of my 86' boxcars that haven't been out in a long time for a photo shoot. Getting ready to add dirt, more brush static grass here and there and super trees to the scene and of course paint and weather the bridge.
