N&W streamlined 4-8-2s

In looking through a book on Mountains type locomotives c/o Moose, I came across pictures of Mountains with the same shell as the 611 4-8-4 J. Has a shell been made to fit the Bachmann heavy Mountain that could be substituted for the stock shell? This is a classy looking engine and my layout needs some (class).
Modeling Southern and N&W in the southeast.

Not that I am aware of. The N&W K2 class (USRA Heavy Mountain # 116-137) was streamlined "J" style right after WW2. The tenders are riveted compared to the J class which are welded.

Yeah, your best bet is kitbashing a J shell.  My favorite photo of one is on the lead of some ACL equipment on the Richmond-Petersburg run.
Thanks much,
