Has anyone visited this 40' x 40' display of four different scales or gauges of model trains?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I went to Shell Point Retirement Village yesterday to view the model RR display.  I had to get through the security shack, which gave me a helpful map to find the display.  Several retiree residents petitioned to build an HO layout in the shape of the state of FL.  It's pretty impressive.   The arrangement is for guides to accompany you and explain what you are seeing.  As I stated, it is quite impressive, but for an active model railroader like me I would have appreciated being allowed to view things at my own pace.  There is no admission charge but they do sell a DVD for $10.

If you're in the Fort Myers area, you might want to check it out.  Viewing times are Mon, Wed and Fri 1:30 - 3:30.
