New Atlas Catalog Has Been Uploaded

I've been checking the website for the past few days, and the new catalog has been uploaded.  The Penn Central S2 units have caught my eye along with some of the new paint schemes on the covered hoppers and coil cars. I might end up modeling from the 1970s-1990s to fit in my interests.  I hope in 2017, Atlas can release a Long Island S2 in the blue and yellow paint scheme.

Thanks,
Adam

The new catalog is at http://www.atlasrr.com/catalog.htm

Listed as a June 2016 announcement is the 3rd run of ALCo S2's in B&O, Staten Island, Burlington, D&H, PC, SAL, Soo and SP (stripes).

I might have missed it, but I don't see any new tooling listed.

Edit: Fixed catalog link

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I see that Atlas is following BLI's lead (UP Centipedes) with offering "Alternate history paint schemes" such as SP SD24's and New Haven Trainmasters...Has Atlas run out of viable roadnames to run?   :) Wish they re-run the SD-9's in SP Black Widow...

Great to see the TrainMasters back.  Wasn't this @Atlas Paul 's first contribution?

I love Atlas, but the CNW units may be too much alternate reality for me (but at least they know what a 'baby trainmaster' is  :)).  But even more weird are the MILW numbers.  402 and 406 were 4 axle units???

Looks like just a couple box cars for the next 6 months.   I really wish the plug door wasn't trainman.  A lot of neat schemes lately.

I'm also very surprised the O scale SW unit is in the catalog.  The last run was cancelled due to lack of orders and I asked recently if they had a rerun planned and was told it wouldn't be any time soon.   :|  I really gotta sell some stuff.

If I were anywhere near to building a layout, I'd jump on the Atlas SD24s, GP38s, and GP7 TTs...

Alas, it's getting more and more likely I'll never build it.

Hmm... quid, me anxius

The SP SD24's could be really cool if Atlas painted them  as they were when SP demo'd them on the SP.  Scarlet and Red low nose, no road numbers, Sp light packages, no Roman "Southern Pacific" on the sides.  Actually this may be a good painting project, just get undecs and paint Dark Lark grey with scarlet nose wings and scarlet end hood.  The 2 pics I have don't even have numbers in the number boards..  If Atlas did them in the plain grey and red with no lettering, they would be prototypical....  Paul??  Since they didn't have road numbers, you would only need to produce one model and then you could produce  the others in the alternate history scheme....
