Does anyone make a decal for these class lights?

I have few locos that would look better if i could represent these.  Micro scale has a set with the gaskets, but does anyone make a decal to represent the class light?

Thanks.

Craig

I pulled the photo from the web. Photo credit goes to a most excellent photographer, Claude Prutton.

Gaskets?  What set is that?

It's tricky, but what I've tried in the past is to use a small drop of black, then a smaller drop of gray. It's been... ok.

Usually I just go with gray though.

I do a spot of engine black with a tinier spot of Testors Chrome on it.   It really does make a difference to have that black edge outline.

Craig, use a #2 pencil. or drill it out and use fiber optic.

MicroScale 60-527, Diesel locomotive data. The circles at the bottom.

Those are all great ideas. I don't trust myself with drops of paint. The pencil or fiber optic I can do!

Thanks guys.

I have used Archer G Scale rivets for this in the past. You get a consistent finish that can be easily repeated or fixed if needed without all the variability and risk that comes with doing it with paint or drilling out the shell.

First off, welcome to the Railwire!!!! Second, what decal sheet from Archer did you use for this? They list several types and sizes.

Thanks, Jon

Now we're talking. I like that idea.
